Cingular Go Phone: Disney Pixar The Incredibles SBC RED Collector's Phone Review

I must admit I didn't buy this phone on Amazon and I certainly wouldn't recommend you spend $48 for it. Buy it at the "new and used" price of $10.

It is a great "Throw back" to the old fashioned desk phone. It has push button dialing but the buttons are arranged in a circle. Hard to get used to after so many years of the traditional square arrangement.

The phone is red which reminded me of the "Bat Phone". The phone seems to work fine without being connected to a wall outlet so I believe the power cord goes to power the flashing light in the middle of the phone. It lights up quite brightly as it is ringing.

The sound quality is excellent and the handset ear piece fits very well and is comfortable. There is a volume control on the handset. The phone is weighted so it doesn't pull off the table. It has a digital display for caller ID and a center button that can be programmed with a phone number for voice mail however any 7 digit number can be programmed.

Setup was easy and fast. It has 2 ringer settings. Number 2 is the Incredibles Ring. A sequence of four "Boops" with the light flashing.

I am tempted to find some Batman stickers and redo the branding though. Just because I grew up with Batman's red Bat Phone.
