this is great item if you need an fm transmitter in your car.as anyone who owns an archos 5 knows, the built in fm-transmitter is garbage and requires something better for most uses.the only draw-back id say is that rather than coming with the standard micro-usb connector that archos supplies as the charger/data cable, gomadic includes the car charger connection, which attaches along the bottom near the docking ports.unlike archos' car charger which has a vertical configuration, the gomadic tip requires the cable to mount on its side and sit along the bottom of the device.this tends to be a problem if you use a holder in the car, and if you use a case you can pretty much assume it wont fit.i should point out that it will, through some jenga-like manipulation, be able to fit the car charger tip while in a universal car holder made by gomadic, however i have found those do not hold the heavier version of the archos device with any stability.
it would be nice if they offered it with both tips, or in an either/or configuration.
