iSkin revo2 Diablo - case for smartphone Review

After looking at many different options for the iPhone cover, I decided on the iSkin.Here are some pros and cons.

Pros
1)Nice all around protection.Some covers only the backside of the iPhone and doesn't seem to protect it on the front.
2)Cover is snug and doesn't come off like other covers.The extra rubber piece that goes across the top and bottom of the iPhone keeps the cover snug and doesn't come off even when you're digging it out of your jean pocket.Also, doesn't get loose over time like some other covers.
3)Fairly thick compared to others - takes away from the sleek look and feel of the iPhone but would definitely provide more protection if you dropped it.
4)Grippy - stays put even on the dash of a moving car.

Cons
1)Thick and bulky - see Pros #3 above.
2)The rubber material collects dust like one of those Swiffers.Once again, takes away from the nice look of the iPhone.
3)It does collect dust / grime under the edges of the cover (around the touch screen) but easy to just take the cover off and wash it with water, dry, and put it back on.
4)The little plastic shield that comes with it is pretty useless.I found it annoying and stopped using it after a week.

Overall, I'm happy with it.It's definitely more function than look.If you're looking for something pretty to look at, this isn't it.

Labtec Axis 711 Digital USB Mono Headset Review

I use Skype to talk not only to my colleagues all over the United States and also to my parents in Japan. I like this USB headset so much that I am ordering it again. Not because it's broken, but because I want one for my home use.
What's good about this headset is that it goes into USB interface instead of speaker interface. If you have a speaker already, you'd have to unplug it and hook the headset in if the headset uses normal speaker interface. But for USB, that's not a problem. Even after using long hours, your ears won't hurt. Stereo one covers your ears too hard that my colleagues complain that their ears hurt.
So far, it never went bad or anything. The quality of the product is pretty good. Now that Skype is offering this feature that allows you to call all over the world with a minimal fee, I am getting one for my home!

Gn 4800 Base with Gn 2000 Headset Wideband Hi Fi Dual Use Review

I purchased this online from Officemax on a closeout. I was really interested in this since I use Vonage VOIP. My wireless handset is OK but since I sit by the computer most of the day, I wanted a better headset that would filter some of the ambient noises.
When I received the headset, I immediately set it up on my Macbook Pro. With iTunes, the Stereo was fair quality (not the best) but that doesn't matter too much since I listen to talk radio most of the day. The headset is lacking in bass, but again, not an issue with me. I installed the Vonage Companion app and it worked just fine. I made some calls with it and the line quality/voice quality was MUCH better than using my standard hand set. One thing I noticed immediately was I could actually hear people who were using hands free kits while they were driving. This has always been an issue. My wife drives all day and she uses a bluetooth hands free kit. I never could have a good conversation with her because the hands free on her side was so cr@ppy. She always sounded like she was in a well. The GN 4800 handset improved that issue to where I could actually have a conversation without getting frustrated and straining to hear her.
I tested the handset with iChat. Again, a fantastic improvement over using the built in mic and speakers. My buddy even noted that he could he me with improved quality.
Overall I am very pleased with this product. While I purchased this for $50.00, even at $75.00-$100.00 it's worth the money in my experience.
I especially like the fact that I can hear calls without a lot of the ambient noise I was accustomed to.
The only con I have for this is the bass. I'd love to hear more base while listening to music but this isn't a deal killer for what I need this for.

This is the second one of these I have purchased.
(My 1st one was ripped off by a thief:-()

But despite that this is a great product.It has good gain, a very strong magnet.
The fact it was a tri-band was important to me.
I am considering buying another for another vehicle.
