If you are looking at this product as a portable charger for you Droid look elsewhere.What this product does, (and how it is described) is extend the charge of your phone when your charge level gets low.It will not recharge your phone.When you unplug your phone after several hours of use beyond what you would normally have gotten without the extender, the charge level will be close to or at the same level as when you plugged it in.It will not be at a higher charge leve.

I installed this unit in my home on one of my two home telephone lines. This system enables one to answer the front door from any location on their property or home served by either a corded or cordless house phone when the 'distinctive ring tone' announces someone depressing the doorbell button on the door intercom unit. I use a cordless phone as it is ideal for those backyard patio barbeque/pool events where I can answer the front door via my home cordless phone without leaving the barbeque/pool area! I installed one of these unit for an elderly neighbor who lives alone and she can now to talk to anyone at her front door without having to open the door. i'd been researching units of this type for travel. i intially bought (based on the reviews) an Altec Lansing unit (the inMotion) which was a big disappointment (a horribly flimsy plastic "folding" device that looked "iffy" from the start and ultimately imploded after only 30 total minutes of use). after returning the inMotion, i looked for a replacement. the JBL OnStage Micro caught my eye and (knowing that JBL has a very good reputation in the audio market) i bought it "sight unseen". what a good decision it was! the Micro is VERY compact but is EXTREMELY sturdy (made of metal and durable plastic). it comes with a variety of iPod adapters, a remote control, a power supply AND a nice travel bag (which fits and protects all the Micro necessities perfectly...including "seperated areas" for the remote and the power supply). the sound is very clear and articulate. Bass?? how can anyone expect ANY device of this size to have "booming" bass? can you HEAR bass guitars and drums? YES. do the tiny speakers "move air" like an 8" subwoofer? OF COURSE NOT. BUT,..all-in-all, this little thing sounds great (and possesses STARTLING amounts of volume)! it looks cool, too. PLUS, it packs up into its little bag and is ready for its next adventure with the greatest of ease. i am very impressed with the look, the portability, the sound and MOST importantly the QUALITY of this little "sonic doughnut". This is a well made product at a reasonable price. I have no experience with the Palm T5, the 650 or the 700 but there is a serious design flaw on the E2. The connection between the cable and the Palm socket is very difficult to make securely. No one will ever convince me that this elaborate "sync and power" plug and socket could not have been a more simple design. I've seen and used much more simple designs on other Palms. The problem is that if you are too rough you will bend and distort the guides on the plug eventually making it unusable. Trust me.I know from experience. Of course this has nothing to do with the cable which is, I I said of high quality.
