I'm only using this item to recharge my phone.So I can't make a statement about the synchronizing capabilities.What I can say is that this is very well made,and intelligently designed, the cable is a ribbon as opposed to a flimsy wire, and well suited to its task.
When I plug it into my phone.It plugs in crisply.That may not sound huge, but I've had experience with the cheap Chinese junk and often they don't plug crisply into my phone.
I would recommend the Gomadic brand as a high quality alternative to the cheap stuff out there.
