Cingular Go Phone: Dynamo Cell Phone Charger Review

I got this about a year ago for my birthday, and in spite of it's low price, it has proven to be worth it's weight in, well, silver. *chuckle*

This dynamo (crank-powered) pocket tool is small and easy to store and carry (especially if you put it and it's attachments into a small drawstring pouch or box ~not included~ to keep it all together more easily).

You can get a variety of attachments, one to fit nearly every phone type, so there is no worry about compatibility, and if you ever loose your attachment, replacements are inexpensive and easy to find online from the manufacturer.

Please keep in mind that this is not made to fully charge your phone from dead. It will, however give you enough of a charge to make a phone call, and is capable of charging it about half way from a three-minute winding.

Additional bonuses include the super-bright LED light that activates when you unplug the charging cord so that you can see in the dark, and the wrist-strap that can make the charger impossible to drop.

Some words of caution; Do not try to use the dynamo while driving! it is much easier/secure to plug in your phone and put the phone in a pocket or lie it down somewhere safe, and then wind the dynamo. This is to prevent accidentally dropping the phone while charging it.
