The case fits perfectly, protects well, and makes the iPad feel more sturdy.All the ports, buttons, etc. are readily accessible and are cut into the case well.The design on the back of the case is very nice, professionally done, and artistic.I also have a Be.ez iPad case that I use with this hard shell.Though this hard case is form fitting and slim, it is difficult to fit into my Be.ez case.It does fit, though was initially difficult to remove; the case stretched a bit to accommodate.
