I first came across another product in Amazon which was far more popular and easy to search than this product. I was almost about to buy it until I read many reviews saying they need to buy extension cable for the audio because the audio cable was too short for laptops which have audio port and D-Sub port at the opposite side.I have such laptop, Thinkpad T43, but the audio cable of this cable is long enough and is just about the right length. If the audio port and the D-Sub port of your laptop are located at the opposite side, this is the right cable for you.
