Q-See QSTD2408-500 8-Channel H.264 CIF Real-time Recording DVR with Mobile Phone Surveillance, Remote Internet Monitoring and Pre-Installed 500GB HDD Review

Q-See QSTD2408-500 8-Channel H.264 CIF Real-time Recording DVR with Mobile Phone Surveillance, Remote Internet Monitoring and Pre-Installed 500GB HDDI read all reviews very carefully. I like this unit except just one parameter - all channels are writing in 320x240x30 fps. It looks like the camera that I just got, which is able to produce 540 TV lines, is more or less worthless since the recorded video will be seriously degraded and I'm not even sure that I'll be able to get the details coming out from the camera. So having 8 cameras like this is good, but seriously, what DRV is able to record all these cameras in native resolution with no significant degradation? I spent weeks trying to find an acceptable device including PC based using different cards, then "standard" standalone DVRs, nothing. All I see is able to either record with the maximum resolution but incredibly slow motion, or real-time like this model, but only 320x240. Any advice? Please answer to this post if you saw some device able to work with 4-8 channels making a real time record with no video resolution degradation. Thanks!
