Not a lot more to say, other than it was a bit of a hard to find battery but I was able to find it here on Amazon.com and it works good enough for me.

Nice to be able to use the old 2-line wireless phone again!

I've been looking for a phone with 'audio message alerts' for at least two years!Phones have come, and gone in my home. Some had the audio message alert tone, but had terrible reception, others had good quality sound, but no message alert tone.I previously owned a Vtech 5.8 digital phone system, and it would cut me off when I went into my living room!So you can imagine that I was skeptical about ordering this brand again.Now, I'm so happy I did!It's the phone I've been searching for!

My phones have 3 handsets, and one base with an answering machine.The extra handsets have their own charging base, but don't require a phone jack. The handsets are slim, and each has their own speaker built in, as well as a choice of ringtones.One of the pluses is that you can pick up any handset while a person is on another handset, and be instantly part of the conversation.Many other multi-phone sets must use the 'transfer' feature to connect to other handsets, which I find to be a huge pain in the you-know-what!You can also call within the house using the intercom feature.I use this to call my husband in the garage. But believe me, there are many other useful features besides the ones I've mentioned!

The phone has a good range also.I live on an acre, and can walk almost to the end of my property without distortion.

We thought we would have to get new phones but the battery worked right out of the package. I thought I would have to charge them, like the one that came with the phone but, no. They came in about 3 to 4 days. They were individually wrapped all in one evelope. We have had them for about 2 weeks now; so far so good.

I was very glad to find this battery on here.I have the V-Tech CS5121 phone and the V-Tech website is charging $20 for their battery, not including shipping.This battery with shipping is around $8.50 each, and they have a higher mAh rating.The funny thing is you can buy a new V-Tech cordless phone for $15-17, and it includes their battery.It's sort of like how bottled water is more expensive than soda even though soda contains the same water in it plus other ingredients.Anyway, great product at a great price.Thanks Amazon.

VTech i5803 Accessory Handset for i5800-Series Expandable Phones Review

I can't tell you about service or support because I never had a problem with my V-Tech phones and have been a loyal customer for 15 years.

What I love about this phone.
1) The handset uses regular rechargible AA batteries.No more searching for the right type of battery.
2) larger than previous models I have owned.As a result I drop it less, and I lose it less often.
3) Easy set up I never touched the manual
4) Flashing LED in handset when I have a message.You would not believe how many times this has helped me find the phone in a dark room at the end of the day.I used to own 4-5 handsets because they kept getting misplaced.
5) Price.This is almost a disposible item.
6) Without the manual I set up a customised ring tone for my family members.I know when they are calling before I see the caller ID.

Im going to rate it a 5 because I think some of the other reviewers were a little unfair.In reality it is probably a 4.A 5 in my opinion would make the bed and scratch my back.

Now you got to ask why did I upgrade my previous phones if the V-tech phones are so good?My house got struck by lightning and anything that was connected to a phone line was smoking and stopped working (doorbell, alarm, phone, and washing machine).Fortunately there was no fire and no one was hurt.

Empire Rechargeable Cordless Phone Battery for Various Phones CPH-515D Review

We purchased these last fall for our Vtech phones.The battery life is starting to rapidly fade.If we try to use the speaker phone option the phone will go dead in a matter of minutes. They also need to be hung up every night or the phone will go dead after a 15-20 min call the next day.For the price they are ok, they lasted about 6 - 7 months and we will probably get another month or two out of them.The original battery that came with the phone lasted 3-4 years though.

Vtech - Pull & Lights Phone Review

My son enjoys the lights and music this toy produces, but I have a big complaint.The on/off button is the * key on the telephone's keypad.Because it is located in the lower right corner, any baby who plays with the phone with his right hand will inadvertently turn the toy off...repeatedly. It's just as easy to turn it on, of course, but this means you'll be listening to the toy's opening and closing musical fanfare over and over again.This will also happen if the toy is turned upside down and resting on the keypad: it will continuously turn itself on and off.
