AT&T 24060 Bell Ringer Review

Having bought new 6.0 DECT GE 3-handset telephones that we could not hear ring, even at the highest setting, I found this telephone ringer on several websites and bought it through Amazon.com.We love the GE phones except their ringtones are lame and again, too low in volume.Other than that, they work great.

This AT&T ringer was reasonably priced and is perfect for our need.It can be connected direct to the phone jack (you may need a dual-splitter for this hook-up) or directly to the telephone.

I would recommend this product to anyone ... and - you can hear it now!

Callpod Chargepod Plantronics Adapter for Plantronics Bluetooth Headsets Review

The Plantronics adapter works just like the regular Plantronics charger, except that rather than a long cord, it attaches to the callpod chargepod. I hate the way that Plantronics designed their charger, with the little nub that just fits into the round hole on the headset. I find that this charger regularly becomes disconnected, but no more frequently in the chargepod version versus the manufacturer's version.

I love the callpod chargepod, which is a round hub with 6 "spokes" of chargers sticking out of it. I have not found a single one my my rechargable electronics for which there is no callpod adapter. I felt that the default adapter's included with the callpod were not the best choice. So before purchasing a callpod make sure you count the cost of all of the spokes that you will purchase; they usually will cost you between seven and ten bucks apiece. But for me that is worth it.

My life is a tangle of cords and the callpod chargepod works to fix that. I keep my six devices (usually two blackberries, an ipod, two bluetooth headsets, and an Amazon Kindle) charging in a self-contained circle without cords going everywhere and without the use of a powerstrip. Then when I travel, I can connect those same device to the car charger using the car power adapter. And in a hotel room, I can charge all my devices (including any that charge via usb using the usb adapter) without bringing tons of cords. The callpod is an expensive, yet for many, worthwhile accessory for your portable electronics.

Plantronics M175 Convertible Mobile/Cordless Headset Review

I have nothing bad to say about this headset. I bought it to replace my previous M175 headset that gave out after several years of heavy use.

The sound quality is excellent and people have no problems hearing me. It is comfortable to wear for hours at a time.

Panasonic Dect 6.0 Expandable Titanium Digital Cordless Answering System - 3 Handset System (KX-TG9343T) Review

After reading numerous reviews (on Amazon and other web sites) about this and many other DECT cordless phones, I ordered this system.This system is used by me and my wife.A primary consideration is that we use Vonage, which is a voice over internet protocol service provider.As a result, we needed one base unit that could be connected to the Vonage telephone modem and then have additional phones that do not require to be plugged into a phone jack.This system fit the bill.We recently moved into a three level New England home (four if you include the basement); we have used this phone system for three weeks as of this writing, and we have placed and received numerous phone calls; the base unit and one other unit are located on the second level; the third unit is located on the first level; we receive clear reliable reception on every level (including the basement) and outside in the front and back lawns.I have used the hand-free speaker option several times on each phone -- it works as advertised.The "night mode" has already come in very handy.After receiving a phone call late one night, I turned on the night mode feature -- again, it works as advertised (yes, I received another late night call, which was identified on the "missed caller" list because the phone in our bedroom did not ring).The "talking caller ID" also works fine.Sure, the voice sounds like a computer and not a real person, but that's what it is.The system identifies who is calling if that person has been added to your phone book, and that's what I expected.I tested just about every feature and this system is everything I expected -- a very good cordless DECT system.Over the past 15 years we have owned several different cordless phones (Sony, GE, Uniden, VTech and others) -- this Panasonic is definitely one of the best we've owned.We are very satisfied with our purchase and would recommend this system to our friends and family.

Panasonic Dect 6.0 Expandable Digital Cordless Answering System - Dual Handset System (KX-TG9372B) Review

The Panasonic 6.0 system is very well built.The number keys are lit and the LCD display is very bright.Great for individuals who have eye sight problems.The phones are slightly larger than usual models but the bigger handsets make it easier to hold.

The only thing I did not like about the product, the VM machine is very basic and lacks a digital number counter to tell you how many VMs you have on the machine - past or present.All you get is a blinking indicator and not a number display.

Overall, there are several other unquie features on the unit such as night time "do not call features", custom ring tones based on Caller ID numbers, etc.This is a good price on Amazon compared to Circuit City, Best Buy, or Fry's Electronics.Amazon is $29 less than everybody else.
