NEW! HIGH QUALITY AC POWER TRAVEL ADAPTER PLUG For use in UNITED KINGDOM ENGLAND IRELAND SCOTLAND HONG KONG and more / WITH DUAL PLUG-IN PORTS! (WORKS AS TWO-ADAPTERS-IN-ONE!) / GROUNDED / See Product Description for compatible countries Review

We purchased this power adapter for a recent trip to Ireland and it worked perfectly. It was easy to find and didn't blend into the walls like the other adapters which were white in color. It was very handy having the option to plug in 2 devices at the same time since there seemed to be fewer outlets available than in a standard U.S. hotel room. No moving parts and a sturdy design kept us confident that the adapter wouldn't come apart or break on our trip. One note to prospective buyers: this is an adapter NOT a converter so be careful which devices you plug into it because some can convert automatically and some can't.

Kensington 33234 70 Watt AC/DC Power Adapter for Notebook Computers, iPods, Cell Phones, DVD Players, PDAs Review

Every once in a while you find a product that really makes your life easier. I travel all the time and I used to carry all sorts of power adapters. I tried the Targus AC/DC adapter but it was far too heavy, did not work with my Dell work computer, and did not have all the tips I needed. I finally found this product. I power my Dell laptop, Toshiba laptop, blackberry, cell phone, dvd player, and psp now with this one device (not at the same time of course), on plane, from the wall, or in the car. Two of my co-workers have purchased this since they saw mine. My only wish is that they would make an elbow tip adapter to make the tips take a right angle leaving the device being powered. I don't mind the short wall cable because it saves weight, but yes it does make it hang out of the wall plug sometimes.

Port Inc. Travel Connection Pak Europe W/ Power/ Phone Adapters Review

You get a grand total of 3 (yes, three) power adapters that convert from a US plug to foreign (but not the other way around):PWR110 (EurAsia, apparently not grounded), PWR-104 (UK, grounded), and PWR106 (Europe, grounded).Apparently, these connectors work in about a hundred nations across Europe, Asia-Pacific, Africa/Middle East, and S. America.

You could spend the same amount of money buying the 3 adaptors individually, but then you wouldn't get this vast array of exotic and arcane phone adaptors. There's not much use for phone adapters anymore, between ubiquitous wireless service and access to high-speed internet. But maybe your grandchildren can donate the set to the Smithsonian someday. And it boggles the mind to see the variety of creative configurations for making a small number of copper wires connect inside a plastic junction. Some of the phone adapters have more robust metal connections than the AC adaptors...you'd think they were carrying 20 amps at 220 Volts.

Another bonus:the plastic case may be just the right size for carrying around your old 33 1/3 rpm records, once you wear out the connectors from constant heavy use.

Note that there is no voltage conversion going on here...your 110V device can still get fried if you plug it into a 220V outlet even with the right adapter.

Anyway, the price was fine, the connectors are fine, but take note that there are only 3 pieces out of this vast collection of junk that you're ever likely to need.

Kensington 33192 70 Watt AC Power Adapter for Notebooks, Cell Phones, Portable DVDs, PDAs Review

Works for my Averatec laptop great. It's a strange design with only about a 2 inch cord before the main body of the adapter but the rest of the cord is crazy long and it works fine for me.It also works on a random wireless speaker I lost a power supply for as well.
