I bought this product in black from Incipio and have been very pleased with it. In general, I have found Incipio's products to be sturdy and well-constructed. This product is basically a hard plastic shell that goes around the back of the Ipad and snaps over the sides. It also includes a clear screen protector sheet, which I did not use because I already had one installed on my Ipad. I describe this product as "coverage" rather than "protection" because it really is just desiged to provide some style, screen protection and protection from superficial scratches to the back and sides of the Ipad. Do not expect this product to prevent your Ipad from being bricked if you drop it down the stairs. For this I would recommend one of Incipio's two-layer cases such as the to-be-released Overkill or the Duroshot (not the Dermashot, which is just a Duroshot without the hard plastic outer casing that covers the inner silicon shell). Even with one of these more protective options though, the best course of action is to just be careful with your Ipad and keep it away from children, animals, old people and other techno-hazards. If you cannot handle that, buy an extended warranty.
