Why does this case get horrendous reviews? I liked it so much that I bought 3 more (in white, red, and black) since the price was so low ($2.49!) I've determined that the rubber cases are a lot more effective than the hard cases. While I should probably avoid dropping my iPhone at all costs, it is somewhat inevitable. And I believe that this Griffin FlexGrip has saved my phone a couple of times. Both times I dropped my phone onto concrete from 2-3 feet, and not a scratch! I also use a screen protector, though. The rubber does absorb the impact well.
