Sony MDR-G73LP Street Style Headphones (Blue) Review

Sony MDR-G73LP Street Style HeadphonesIt's interesting that some people say these are hard to wear. I find them by far the easiest to wear and the most comfortable of the behind-the-neck style. I wonder if they are trying to wear them like traditional phones? These are very light and stay on my ears (with glasses, by the way) better than most of the stiff plastic phones I've used.

I've owned many, many headphones over the years (Koss, Memorx, Panasonic, JVC), and Sony has been the most consistently good sounding brand I've had. The MDR-G73LP phones are no exception. They sound far better than the cheapos that come with virtually all portable devices (including Sony.) They aren't as good as my old MDR-V6 phones, which have been thoroughly abused over, what, about 15 years? And even though those V6's are physically shot, they still sound fabulous!

I recently bought the new sealed bud type phones (Sony), but I like the MDR-G73LP better. The sound is smooth, wide range, deep bass, and all around clean. My only complaint is that they don't seem to be the best FM antenna around. But with a CD player, they are excellent.

I can very highly recommend the MDR-G73LP!
