I paid a lot of money for a new classic 160gig iPod, you bet I'll spend twenty to protect it! In a year when the new model comes out I'll get top dollar for mine because it wont have a single mark on it! This is a complete wrap around cover in two pieces. It took quite a while and was finicky to apply, but was very much worth the effort. My iPod classic in black looks as if I have varnished it, very shiny clear coating. The cover is invisible once applied except the high gloss finish you get.
It looks very much like a freshly waxed car when applied. It won't protect from drops or serious mishandling, but it will not allow scratches. I did not like the bulky cases, so this is perfect for me.
