Some reviewers have complained about static and poor range on this phone system and its other variations (3 and 4 handset models).All I can say is that we have been VERY pleased with this unit.We have a 1900+ square foot home and we can walk throughout the entire house (and yard!) without any static, range, or volume problems at all.Is the phone perfect?No.It's lacking some of the higher end features of more expensive models, but based on its reasonable price one shouldn't really expect it to come with power windows and a sunroof.Of note, it is missing a couple "basic" features, like a headset port and a belt clip.But if you can live without those, I can easily recommend this one.
