The surge strip is supposed to control a number of devices when the master plug detects an on/off.So when you turn the master device on, the power strip is supposed to turn on all the other switched plugs.This seems to work great for a computer.I have 3 of these surge strips and they seem to work great for computers.However I'm trying to control it with an xbox which should work, because the xbox draws about 4 watts during power off.The surge strip states that it works with devices that draw less than 10 watts during power off (or sleep mode), but this doesn't seem to be quite the case.
