Sony MDR-SA1000 DJ Stereo Headphones Review

Yes I agree these should not be labeled "DJ" headphones.I think that that is misleading.At the same time I do not believe that giving these 1* just because of durability in a "DJ" environment helps others.Those of you who have bought these primarily on that basis are poor consumers.Do your research FIRST.Also evaluations by those with tinker toy audio setups does not help.These are very fine headphones for the price / performance and when driven by a decent source produce very accurate sound reproduction.As for the lack in the low end range this is somewhat true, but it is very tight and accurate (I think allot of people do not know what a real low end should sound like, they are accustomed the boomy / sloppy low end produced by cheap equipment).So here is my recommendation:
1) If you have decent audio equipment (a quality dedicated headphone amplifier and good source) these perform very well.
2) These are an "Open Air" design.This design is used to increse the quality of the sound, but also allows exerior sounds in and some sound produced by the unit out.If this is important to you do not buy these, get a "closed / sealed" design.
3) These are for home use.Do not buy them for travel or DJ use.
4) Replace the original cable with a high end cable (makes these sound much better)
5) The price / performance ratio these are hard to beat.
6) Everyone has there own tastes preview / research before you buy!
7) If you have low end equipment buy to match what you have.These are fairly efficient at 70ohms, but if you are using an IPOD get 32 Ohm headphones or buy a headphone amplifier.

STER BT HEADSET Review

Pros:
Works well with my iTouch and cellphone.
Pairing can be touch and go at times, but it works and recognizing later on is not an issue.
Has a clip to attach to clothes. Works well.
You can use your own heaphones which is great.
Tiny!
Range is very good
Battery life is ok, last about 12 hours of music play without charging. Then it will beep and perhaps another hour of play after that.

Cons:
Proprietary charger
Display does not illuminate - can't see in the dark
Controls: play/pause and volume only
Can't pair with my computer
$$$ - really that much?

BlackBerry Headphone Audio Adapter 2.5mm to 3.5mm (HDW-15306-002) Review

Because of low reviews across the board for 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapters, I ordered two adapters "just in case".I'm glad I did because the first adapter worked with my Bose Noise Reduction headphones, but the second only provided sound through one ear of the headphones.

Alternatively, I tried both adapters using my Blackberry to play BB mp3s into the aux input of my 2008 Ford Escape.Both adapters only provided audio to the left speakers.I tried several 3.5mm to 3.5mm male to male cables to see if it was the cable, but all cables had the same results.I also tried to wiggle the adapters and cables to find an intermittent connection, but this did not yield any new information.

The problem with the adapter is one of the following:1) My blackberry (it works fine with Bose headphones so I don't think it is my BB).2) My Ford Escape audio input (this works great with my ipod so it should be okay).3) The 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapters (likely).4) The manufacturing tolerances of the 2.5mm adapter may not be good enough for consistent performance across several devices.

I can't say what the root cause of my problem was, but the adapters did not perform as well as I had hoped.

BlackBerry Bluetooth Stereo Gateway Review

If your car has an auxilliary input on it's radio and a cigarette lighter, you can take A2DP-capable bluetooth device and play high-quality music through your stereo with this device. (Note: some sellers include the Blackberry car charger with this device, if not, you'll need to buy one.)

Pairing this device with my Droid was relatively easy: just plug it in, select it from the list of available devices, enter a pairing code and the Droid automatically reconnected with the gateway every time I started my car from that point forward, allowing me to play MP3s and Pandora radio through my Acura's stereo without a problem.

One thing to keep in mind when you use this device in a car is that you'll still have to position your playback unit where you can operate it safely while driving.The iPod and most smartphones have windshield and or vent mounts that keep the unit in your line of site while driving, and I'd HIGHLY recommend that you buy such a mount at the same time you buy this device, if you don't already have one.

Sennheiser HD800 Premier Headphone Review

In general, the more money you spend on a pair of headphones, the more you experience the law of diminishing returns. A handsome-sounding AKG K701 will impress most people with their command of classical, while a good Grado rocks as well as any phone out there.But each headphone has its unique sound, and limitations. That's why many dedicated headphone users like keeping at least two different models to complement different musical spectra.

The Senn HD800 comes the closest to my experience at producing a sound that would satisfy a variety of tastes - in one headphone. The sound complements classical and jazz, but renders rock and electronica with surprising authority. I listen to a variety of music in a single listening session, so the HD800 is also extremely convenient. Although somewhat hefty, they're well-padded and have a velvety comfortability. Even in hot weather, these phones are cool and easy to wear; unlike some phones, these provide a pleasing sound without the use of an amplifier (though a good amp will make most decent setups even better.) It's hallmark clarity is bolstered by its sound: anchored by a full bass, crystalline highs, and a midrange that has definition without being too forward.

This headphone is been compared to the popular AKG K701, particularly with its emphasis on sonic clarity. But the Senn seems to have more weight and depth on the entire sound. It offers music as it was meant to be heard, sans the usual problems - thumpy bass, screechy highs, insufficient power. For under $400, you can purchase a fine headphone that will fill most of your musical needs; but if you want the whole package, the HD 800may be a good investment, despite the $1400 price tag.

1/4" Stereo Headphone Extension 25 ft. Coiled Review

Needed a longer cord for my headphones and this was just right. Not too long or too short I can move around when I have my phones on as I have terrible and constant ringing in my ears, the phones dampen that down without having the volume at a high level.
Good solid product.

Q:Electronics Noise Canceling Headphones Review

I got these headphones from a co-worker and I had never heard of the brand before. I was coming off using a pair of sure noise canceling headphones that cost me $150. I thought that those were great headphones until I plugged these bad boys into my i-Pod and started jamming. I literally love these things! Plus in the package you get all of the adapters you will ever need and a very nice headphone pouch for traveling. I let a friend of mine that was an avid listener to his i-Pod and he used the $300 Bose noise canceling headphones listen to these ALTEAM noise cancelers and he couldn't even tell the difference. These are a really great headphone if you want the quality of the expensive guys but you don't want to spend that much. Every time I see somebody with $300 headphones I chuckle a little, knowing that I have the same quality for less than one third of the price!
