iRiver P7 Car Cup Holder - Gomadic Brand Review

I find this product excellent in holding my MP3 player and my GPS. It keeps your electronics out of the sun and out of sight for would-be theives. Which BTW should be the reason why everyone should have one. The padded clamp is adjustable to the size of your device and there is a release switch for ease of removal. The goose neck is stiff yet flexible enough so you don't get your stuff wobbly and out of place. This is great way to keep multiple things organized instead of cluttering up your dash or window with accessories. The cup holder mount is a winner.

Apple iPod touch Car Cup Holder - Gomadic Brand Review

This is the answer if you have a cup holder within your view. The cradle securely holds my IPhone with it's case attached and the base of the holder expands securely into my cup holder. It took longer to open the box than it did to install holder into my Toyota. The charging port is still accessible and the support arm remains rigid once locked into position. There is a slight wobble to the support arm while going down the highway but that's to be expected. This works and looks so much better than using a suction cup or resorting to just laying the phone on the console or seat as I was doing.I would not hesitate to buy another or give this as a present.

Arkon SatRadio Cup Holder Review

I purchased the Belkin F8E479 TuneDok for XM Radio Receiver for my car (94 Dodge Spirit) and then found the Arkon SR033 Satellite Radio Cup Holder Mount for my new car (1992 Plymouth Acclaim). The Arkon model is 100% better than the Belkin model!
It has an adjusting wheel that helps make it nice and snug in the cup holder, no matter how much vibration it doesn't fall out like the Belkin model does.

I like this one so much, I'm ordering another to replace the Belkin in my Spirit.

This is the one you want for your XM radio.

Bracketron UCH-101-BL Universal Cup-iT Cup Holder Mount Review

it's not very often that i feel like i got a fair deal for my money. i was very surprised with this product though. i bought it on a whim, not really expecting it to work.

my first impression was that of solid construction. very heavy duty plastic. the flexible neck is thick and strong and won't move even holding the heaviest device.

i was fairly sure this wouldn't mount well in my 2010 honda fit. the cup holders are all a little oddly shaped. one was small. the other was very large and heavily tapered. another was more rectangular than round. turns out it mounts steadily in all of them.

the device holder aspect it ratcheting. it has pads to hold the device on the sides and two little pegs that fold out to hold the bottom. the pads on the side additionally expand vertically to adjust where they hold the device. all in all, ingeniously flexible in the number of ways it can adjust. considering your device may have controls on the sides and ports on the bottom this is important.

as far as i can tell it would fit just about any size device i can think of. i happen to have a nexus one that is very close to the size of an iphone 3gs.

a note on price / buying options. i paid $15.22 for this. when searching under "nexus one", i found the same bracketron unit listed for $26.99 (plus shipping) from a different seller. quite a difference. there is also another brand, "gomadic". they have a unit that, as far as i can tell, is identical to this model (bracketron). however, it's $29.99.
