In the battery business, it's been good business to keep ordering more batteries, but when it comes to the iPhone andits' many APPs, the need for increasing battery life has ever increased the need for a good, cost effective battery.
Most batteries, from plug ins to skins, and I've tried a good many brands and types, fall far short towards extending the iPhones functional
life, especially if viewing videos, using multiple APPs, or if keeping 3G and Data Roaming on all the times.
Although several current battery covers or skins can be conveniently applied over the iPhone, their batteries do not work as long,
and are harder to wear on a belt or carry in one's pocket.
The iMaxPower external battery (IMP500A) answers the three main objectives for deciding which type of battery to purchase.
First it is easy to carry, recharge, and and store.
Second, it really extends the iPhone's battery all day at 100% (full battery capacity) even while using the iPhone,
as well as it recharges a 'dead' iPhone quickly (by my rough estimate, about 1% per minute).
Third, it clearly presents a better purchase value that includes a good replacement warranty.
The available add on peripherals also make it adaptable for cameras or Blackberrys,
and doesn't require a wall socket or car lighter source though comes with a wall adapter.
It's simple clean design makes it easy to see the 'on light' or the 'recharging lights', easy to hold,
and can be easily carried or placed in a pocket or fanny pack even while charging and connected to the iPhone.
It doesn't interfere with the iPhone's use while charging.
In short I highly recommend this useful and adaptive tool that further opens up the iPhones many potentials,
without those late day or next day iPhone battery failures because one forgot to recharge the iPhone's battery.
The iMax Power allows one to carry this battery pack easily thus keeping the iPhone fully functioning at all times.
