I bought this to bring out the earphone jack of my laptop so I could listen to music at my desk without bending over my desk but the heavy weight of the cord makes it a little stiff for that use.The cable works and the female end has a firm click to hold the headset in but the cord ends up getting in the way because I can't bend it where I want/need it.
