I was planning an excursion to a remote location and being able to recharge my Nintendo DS by outlet or by car wasn't an option. What I needed was something that could power or charge my DS with batteries. This product does both.

I also couldn't find any other products like it, so that means if you are ever in the same boat as I was, you'll need this device.

The battery case is thin and doesn't look very strong, so you'll want to be gentle with it. Also, the chord is a little short so playing while charging can be a little uncomfortable.

So, if you need to power your Nintendo DS with batteries, this is what you want. There are rechargeable "battery packs" you can buy for the DS, but if you're away from reliable electricity for a long time, you'll want this case over the other battery packs.
