Cingular Go Phone: Original Motorola Rapid Travel Charger SPN5202 (CH710) Review

Based on what I read on the Motorola Counterfeit Identification Guidebook, this charger seems to be genuine. It has all the qualities of a genuine product except for the AC blades which have excess plastic on their undersides. However the model used to identify the fakes in the Motorola document was not this exact charger so I have no idea if all chargers are not supposed to have excess plastic on their blades or just the one in the document. Since it passes all other tests, I can assure you this charger comes genuine if you order from A1 Accessories. The listed specs are not too informative so for those who want to know I will put the specs on the one I got.

I have no idea why the model number is "PSM5202A" but "SPN5202A" appears just above the name "Motorola" on the charger. The plastic bag also has a sticker with SPN5202A along with a barcode.

The regular travel charger SPN5185 only supplies 550mA, this SPN5202 can supply 850mA which definitely charges my phone faster. Amazon should get some of these so we won't have to worry about the item being genuine or not.
