I'm using this cable to connect my Integra pre-pro to a rack of Carvinamps powering my home theater, and it works very well.

In regards to the complaint that the wires are too thin, that doesn't really matter for carrying a line-level signal.Don't blame the cable because you got careless while moving equipment around and damaged it.
