The battery works fine so far. I have had it not more than 1 month so I wouldn't expect any problems. I bought two 3.6 V batteries @ 600 & 700 mah charge rating for smy Toshiba & Uniden cordless phones which both use the same batteries. I believe the cost of the 700 mah battery is high compared to a 600 mah compatible battery. I bought 2 batteries forBoth stock batteries were 600 mah rated NICD. You can buy higher rated mah batteries but not lower ratings. The cost of the 700 mah battery was double of that I used for my Uniden phone rated @ 600 mah. I'm not sure the difference in charge time of 100 mah is worth doubling the cost of the battery. It makes sense only if you use your phone for great lengths of time between charges. The higher the mah rating the longer the charge the phone holds. Most of us don't need a higher than stock charge capacity. We usually charge our phones at night and start each day with it recharged. I suggest buying a battery at the stock mah rating and finding a battery that is compatible with your phone. Make sure the voltage rating is the same. This is a must! Many are interchangeable. Make sure the battery dimensions are the same (or a bit smaller) and the type of connection is the same so it fits in your phone and plugs in correctly. So many aftermarket batteries are compatible with lots of phones but aren't listed as such. Look at the connection in the online picture first. If it is the same check the dimensions for a battery that fits. Do you homework & you can save money. You can also use NIMH batteries to replace NICD batteries so long as the voltage rating is the same & the mah ratings are the same or higher than the stock one in your phone. The NIMH batteries are now the battery of choice from an environmental standpoint and are found in all new phones. The NICD replacement batteries are still made for the older phones that use them. You don't have to use them though. A NIMH battery of the same or higher rating can be used to replace your old NICD battery. They are cheaper as more of them are made. Any electronics tech can confirm this. Hope this saves money & some time.

Nickel Cadmium Cordless Phone Battery For UNIDEN BT-905Product Description: Most BT905 batteries are rated at 3.6 volts and either 600 or 700 mAh (Mili-Amp Hours). Sometimes you will see higher or lower mAh ratings. The mAh number is the measurement of the "capacity" of your BT-905 battery pack. The higher the Mili-Amp Hour rating, the longer your run time. For example, an 800 mAh cordless phone battery will give you twice as much talk time when compared to a 400 mAh (half of 800) battery pack.
