I have been using tracfone, and spending a lot on calls. I was seriously considering getting ooma voip phone for 250 clams, that's when I seen this jewel at rite-aid for $29.99, that's the best money I ever spent. With ooma I would have had to take the max dsl package for my internet to use it adding $20.00 per month for my internet bill, " I just have basic dsl $30.00 per month and this skype phone works great. The selling point was that it works w/ skype, yahoo or msn messenger, So I figure I should be able to get at least one working. I tried the voip to (land-line phone or cell phone) feature and the sound was good no choppiness. so I figured this is where they are gonna get me the pay as you go is as costly as tracfone. Just for kicks I checked out the unlimited calling subscription.$3.oo per month Yeah!! $3.oo this is great I can call as much as I want for three $ a month. So here's my plan: basic unlimited skype $3,oo per month for outgoing. Basic value plan w/ tracfone for incoming $10.00 per month which will get me 100 monthly mobile minutes cuz I got dbl min for life on the tracfone. When someone calls I say hey I'm gonna call you back on my skype. A grand total of $13.00 per month sets me up w the best calling plan I have ever had. T-mobile and Verizon hosed me so bad I will never go back to them. I plan to get another for back up just in case this one dies. If you see one of these grab it!!! they are definitely worth the $29.99 price tag.
