Cingular Go Phone: Phiaton PS 210 Sound-Isolating In-Ear Earphones Review

Prior to buying these I was using a decent lightweight over the head headphone, the sennheiser PX-100.They are quite good for $50, but I decided I wanted the convenience of earbuds so I purchased these.WOW!The sound quality is outstanding and I know about sound quality.I've been an audiophile for 20 years and have many thousands invested in my home hifi.The detail, clarity, and instrument separation is nothing short of amazing.I will say that they are not for someone that wants gobs of bass, but they are perfect for me.I prefer to hear what's really on the recording, not some exaggeration of it.These are very high value for the money.Comfort wise, I'm still getting used to earbuds.They are a far cry from the cheap hard earbuds shipped with iPods, and they do come with 4 sizes of silicone covers, but they are not as comfortable as over the head headphones.However, I find them very wearable and I have had no trouble keeping them in place for more than an hour without discomfort.
