Hp RQ204AA 6 Cell LI-ION Battery for Notebook (TX1000 Series) Review

THE PRICE HERE IS ATTRACTIVE! The last time I bought a spare battery, it was for and from Toshiba, and cost 1.5X the price here.

However, I just or recently was turned on to an alternative to the manufacture's extra battery. It is a lithium battery that has as much reserve power as a spare but has mutliple applications because it has a large variety of tips or plugs for a great number of devices and also has the ability to choose the voltage, and comes with its own charger. It is not much more expensive either.

Drum roll....It is the:

Li-ion Equivalent (319411-001) Battery FOR COMPAQ Presario 2100 2100US 2500 2525US series.[4000mAh 14.80v] Review

The battery was shipped almost immediately. It had a wide range of arrival dates which was disappointing, it arrived in a couple of days which was terrific. Mechanically - the battery is a "perfect" fit.It charged up, and runs a couple of hours without recharging. It seems to charge very quickly compared to the one it replaced.I have saved the address of the distributor in case I need to order another through Amazon.

HP KS526AA 12-Cell Multi Charge Extended Battery Review

You think when you first by the laptop that the standard battery is enough. Then you start really working and going places and realize that1 to 3 hours of battery power just "ain't cuttin' it" - especially on planes trips. You also find that power isn't available everywhere you go either. This battery does really good. Average of about 4 and half hours (I forget to change my power settings but ..... oh well.....) Form fact isn't too bad. Actually gives your laptop an upward tilt for more comfortable typing.
