Incase Protective Cover for iPhone 3G - Charcoal (CL59089) Review

I have had my InCase protective cover for about 3 months. This is a great cover for the most part. It is very slip-resistant and helps you to keep a firm grasp on your iPhone (I have never dropped mine). It also looks very nice.

Unfortunately, you have to remove the cover to put the phone in an iPhone doc and the it does not hold up to removal and reuse very well. After removing and putting mine back on about 15 times, the case broke at the microphone port. This is very disappointing given the $30 price tag (note: you do have to stretch the case somewhat to get it back on).While I do use my headphones alot, the jack on my headphones is even smaller than the headphone jack that come with the iPhone so I don't feel the case was weakened by repeated headphone use.

If you intend to use this cover without a dock, I would recommended it. Just try not to remove it too often. Otherwise, I would look at another protective cover. Note, there will also be problems putting your iPhone into most iPhone cases when it has the cover on, so you might want to consider that as well, if you plan on also using a case for your iPhone.

Incase CL59288B Slider Case for iPhone3G and 3GS - Black Chrome Review

Great product. Fits real well on iPhone. Easy access to all buttons and ports. Slides on and off easliy. However the picture shown gives the impression that the product is a gun-metal chrome type color, or a dark chrome. When really the product is the same glossy black as the iPhone. Not a bad thing though since it's still a good case. Protects well.

InCase CL59156-B Slider Case for iPhone 3G and 3GS - White Review

I love this case because it is the sleekest most beautiful case out there for the iPhone, however I don't recommend it if you actually drop your phone much.The case protects the phone from damage very well.My phone has taken many terrible falls and has suffered no damage.BUT, the iPhone must be heavier in the bottom right corner because I have more nicks in the plastic there than anywhere else.Due to always falling in this area where the plastic of the case is so thin, I have broken many of these cases.It always takes a long time and I always buy another one because I love this case but for $35 I wish it would not break in the same area everytime.I have had 3 of them so far and I'm sure I will get another one sometime soon so I do recommend it.
