Cisco SPA962 6-Line IP Phone with 2-Port Switch Review

Cisco SPA962 6-Line IP Phone with 2-Port Switchthis is a fully featured and complex (like in really pretty complex) SIP phone with 6 lines. YOU CANNOT USE THIS PHONE WITH A REGULAR PHONE LINE! it only has 2 ethernet ports that connect it to your network, thats it. in order to use this you really need to understand VOIP or have exact. detailed instructions on how to configure it with a VOIP service provider like Broadvoice. but assuming you have the background needed its great, i currently have several VOIP services programmed in with DIDs, for example, one line is an austrian phone number that rings on my 962 here in north carolina. there are so many things you can do, but its not for the faint of heart. oh yes, and voip need good broadband with a decent upload speed. you need to figure about 100k per line, so if you have 3 conversations at the same times you would need at least 300Kbps upload. most people'd broadband have between 250 and 380kbps upload speed. a disadvantage of a SIP phone versus a sip adapter is that with the adapter you can hook up any regular phone (cordless, whatever), an answering machineand even patch it into your home phone wiring if needed. cant do any of that with a SIP phone.

Linksys by Cisco SPA922 1-line IP Phone with 2-port Switch Review

Linksys by Cisco SPA922 1-line IP Phone with 2-port SwitchI enjoy this phone very much. It is fairly easy to use and has lots of features. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it does not come with a power cord adaptor! This was something that was not advertised and was a big pain to deal with when it came in and I wanted to use it. Other than that, a great phone!

Cisco SPA 504G 4-Line IP Phone Review

Cisco SPA 504G 4-Line IP PhonePurchased two of these phones to expand our 3CX VOIP system. They were easy to configure and are compatible with the linksys power supplies and wireless adapters (Cisco-Linksys Wireless-G Bridge for phone adapters WBP54G)that we already owned. The soft menu system is easy to use and required no user training.Voice mail indicators worked flawlessly with the 3CX phone system.

The speaker phone and handset volume and call clarity is great. It is as good as handsets that I have paid over $250 for. Will definitely buy more of these as our office expands.

Cisco SPA941 4-line IP Phone with 1-port Ethernet Review

Cisco SPA941 4-line IP Phone with 1-port EthernetI put together two Asterisk servers for two businesses, and bought several of the SPA941 phones.I looked at Grandstream products, and read reviews, and bought one, but they are basically cheap crud in comparison. This SPA941 series is a solid business phone that works well... the cheaper competitors feel like cheap plastic (they are), and have all kinds of operational issues working with Asterisk.I'm basically a fan of this product.

On the down side, I have had trouble getting and installing the 2-to-4 line upgrade.Be aware that this is only a 2-line phone, even though it has 4-line buttons.
