Snom 360 Review

I am a SNOM 360 user since3+ years and its still amazing me like on the first day how excellent the voice quality is.

The telephone allows to manage twelve provider accounts. Most cheap phone have one or two. While generally these is enough being able to manage several accounts allows you to easily swap your provider on the touch of a button.

Especially when the promised voice quality is not what you expect from the connection you will find that its also strongly influenced by the providers used technology (compressions, protocols etc.)

The Snom 360 delivers me crystal clear connections even with less reliable providers. Often friends ask us if we are nearby as the quality is so good.

With the phone being targetted at business users you can be rest assured its a reliable partner.

The phone even allows you to program and run your own applications. I remember there was a promotion appplication that you could check the Worldcup results from the touch of a button and browse through the result table.

While the display size does not compare to Ciscos, Avaya etc. it is illuminated which makes it easy to see in darker environments.

Support is basically only through the wiki or the dealer.
That might be an issue at the beginning while trying to find out which ports you have to open on the firewall etc.

Wiki support might not be enough for non technical users, but consider that technical smart users are able to upgrade from firmware version 3.x.x to the latest 7.3.4 without any extra cost.

As you can imagine going from 3.x.x to 7.3.4 the phone made HUGE heaps in terms of usability, reliability and quality.

The price might not be as reasonable as budget makers but that will be forgotten by the time you start to use the phone. ;-)The most important questions:
Would I buy the same phone again ? Yes
Why ? I am convinced of the Snom quality
(also the support is basically only wiki support for end users)
